Biographical tid-bits

Sara has worked steadily over the last decade at a wide range of regional theaters. She was the 2017 recipient of a Regional Broadway World award for her performance in Fun Home at Portland Center Stage (Best supporting actress in a musical). She has been involved in the development of several new works, including the first public workshop of Rattlesnake Kate by Neyla Pekark (The Lumineers) at the Denver Center’s New Play Summit. Sara appeared on NBC’s Law and Order: SVU, as a part of the show’s 20th season.

She holds a certificate in Music Theater from the New York Film Academy and is a proud graduate of the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music, where she earned her Bachelor’s of Music in Music Theater.

Sara is currently based out of Minneapolis, MN where she lives with a multitudinous collection of memoirs, plants, cookbooks and her partner and collaborator Daniel Petzold.  Sara is an avid knitter, hiker, podcast enthusiast and songwriter.
